Even if your teenager is behaving in the most inappropriate ways, remember that unconditional love never fails. You can do many things Did I say I hate you? wrong as a parent, but you can’t afford not to transfer your love for them each time they reach out for it (and even when they don’t). Your love for them is the only thing they will remember and it is how they judge your worth as a parent. Remember that every teenager needs to be loved. Your teenager wants to discover how much you love them and goes to endless measures to test that love.

Her mum and her get along so good. She is like so cool. I told her all about mum and my fight and she was really understanding. She would never say she hated Jo. They don’t fight that much except for when Jo wants to do stuff she isn’t allowed. They wouldn’t fight if the house was a mess. I wish I had a mum like that who loved me.
