The es­ sential part of the ceremonial consists in long pilgrimages undertaken by the priest to all the sacred sites, that is, to the places where the Immortals performed certain acts.

The renewal consisted in a cult scenario the chief rite of which symbolized the reiteration of the cosmogony.
